SpielFabrique Has Launched BRIDGE To Support African Studios

As a catalyst for the video game ecosystem, SpielFabrique has launched BRIDGE. This project aims to bring African video game studios to collaborate with European studios to develop high-quality video game projects with cultural value.

With its applications opened from 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟮𝗻𝗱, the project seeks for interested studios with a project but miss specific complementary skills to develop it to completion. The project is also looking for studios aiming to reach new funding and networks outside their country. Additionally, if you are a studio that wants to bring your expertise to an already well-developed project then apply to BRIDGE and find YOUR collaborator(s).

Through the BRIDGE specialized online webinars and 1:1 mentoring, the project will help studios find a perfect match to collaborate with other studios from Europe and other international country partners. BRIDGE accompanies your journey, from basic contact management to project structure. Other opportunities in store for studios are the pitching sessions or Prototype funding offered by Bright Gambit, which will be offered to selected teams collaborating in the program. 

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA – 

STUDIO MUST: 

• have an established entity (or in the process) 
• be registered as a company based in an African country 
• have an early-stage game project (e.g. not just looking for a publisher)
• have an attractive presentation of the game/studio to match and collaborate able and motivated to share your expertise and collaborate with another studio able to communicate in English
