My Journey So Far: Interning at Leti Arts

My Experience
I began Interning at Leti arts on Monday, the 16th of June 2025 and I must say, right from when I had my interview, I was nervous, but I knew this would be a new and interesting experience for me. Upon starting this internship, I was able to witness just how amazing and talented a lot of people are at Leti arts, and this keeps motivating me to do more and push more.
Personally, I have had some experience with UI/UX design, but never with Game UI/UX design. Little did I know that it would be a whole new world of design for me. I keep learning new things, stepping into the world of African Digital creativity. It is vast, beautiful, and challenging, as my team’s UI/UX designer, I have come to realize that I still have so much to learn, and that there is still so much space to grow.
So far, my team and I have been able to work together with no disputes, we have also been able to make significant progress by deciding the game’s objectives, genre, name, basic layout, and so on.
In conclusion, my experience so far has been simultaneously fun, and challenging. I love working with my team even if it includes my twin sister. As my internship continues, I am more excited about what lies ahead for me.
To the Leti Arts team, and to Abigail most especially, thank you for investing your time and energy into each and every intern, and most of all, thank you for your patience. I cannot wait to see where this journey leads next.
